The bead used in these process is very fine almost to the point of a fine powder.
Its very simple and effective way to bring back that new look to any ferrous or non ferrous metals.
Using a mixture of very fine glass bead, water (aqua) degreasers agents, rust inhibitors and air pressure set at around 50-60 cubic foot of air at 100 psi.
It gently removes ground in dirt rust or corrosion and leaves a brilliant finish.
The best of it, is its safe to use inside a crank case and other mechanical parts.
Once the blasting process is complete the items are washed in clean water so to remove as much of the residue bead as possible.
For peace of mind its always advisable to re-wash the parts before assembly in "clean water or a very light alcohol cleaner (IPA) (not the beer) could be used.
Blasting it with a high pressure air wash gun would be advisable.
If you intend to store the part for a while it would be wise to spray with a light oil.
