We now hold in stock a superior Chrome effect powder coat. It is said by the manufactures originally developed for a major car maker in Germany for coating vehicle wheels.
It has a deep and highly reflective finish and unlike other chrome silvers we have tested in the past, this product outshines all others to date. Totally UV stable, (will not fade in direct sunlight) and mark resistant. Preparation is very important making sure the substrate has been blasted and completely clean, a good quality 30% laden zinc apoxy primer coat is applied and green cured, the green cure or under bake is good practice as it helps with the finishing coat to achieve good molecule cross bonding. Finally a lacquer has been developed for this product to stabilise and protect the silver in all types of conditions and uses.

I hope you can find the time to publish my comments on the superb performance & service I have received from the Maldon Shot Blasting & Powder Coating Company (as advertised in the O.B.M.)
On Monday this week I took in my T140E Bonneville frame & swing arm for blasting & powder coating (2 coat system) & after a good long guided tour around the works & a good look at the processes it goes through, I came home happy that I would receive my parts before the weekend.
When I got home I suddenly realised that I completely forgot to take the head stock, centre stand & side stand at the same time, plonka! any way next morning I dropped the rest of the bits in to the works, no problems with anyone & then at lunch time on Wednesday,a phone call to say they were ready for inspection & collection was received.
Well as you can imagine, I was very pleased with the speed of service and went to collect the parts on the way home, and the finished quality is absolutely superb, very well protected in bubble wrap & the staff all eager to assist with any queries & help load the parts in my car when completely satisfied with their efforts, added to a no quibble guarantee of quality of workmanship & life span of product, I can do no more than highly recommend these guys as the way forward for any one wishing to restore their old British iron to an excellent standard at a very competitive price, I shall never paint a frame again.
Best wishes
