Every surface of the wheel is refurbished Inc the inner rim. Unlike some that just repaint the face. Blast cleaned removing all old paint and any corrosion, Ultra cleaned and phosphate, Degassed and final hand preparation including masking off where required.
Primer coating.
Zinc rich powder primer coat or self-healing non-zinc primers.
Zinc rich primer coating is a protective anti-corrosive powder layer and is very effective when applied, when cured in the
correct manner; Maldon Shot Blasting was one of the first to start offering this product to the public. Colour matching.
We offer a colour matching service, Standard silvers in a powder form is limited and can be difficult to match original finishes, under these circumstances a water based colour coat is used sandwiched between a powder coat prime coat and a crystal clear acrylic lacquer, this gives a first class finish with superior protection.

Corrosion.
Corrosion will be treated and removed completely during the blast cleaning; Maldon shot blasting have special fillers in stock for minor corrosion repairs, or a alloy welding service for deeper or deep kerb damage.
Can we collect and deliver?
Yes, by using Federal Express. You will need to book this service by 12 noon for collection the next day. Once work has beencompleted we will send them back right to your door anywhere within the UK or E.U.
What are the collection costs?
We only charge on to the client the cost of this service; costs are subject to size and weight. Costs are around £25.00 for collection & delivery ( up to 20kgs per delivery)
Will we repair badly damaged wheels?
No, we will not put your life in danger. We strongly recommend replacing with new wheels. |
